The flea sprays and dips listed as "for kittens" which I have seen have all
been pyrethin-based.  What I have used to spray for fleas is the dip
diluted and put into a spray bottle (available at any plant store or
K-mart, etc).  Then I know I am spraying something that is safe for the
ferrets and cats, since I can use it directly on them.  Also, I prefer
using just this now as the 20 month old rug rat likes to run everywhere the
cats and carpet sharks go.
