This is a very common problem, especially with GE and those raised to allow
for wheels. Without knowing the brand or model is is difficult to know the
precise remedy. However, as a general remedy, wrapping a strip of non
galvanized chicken wire along the bottom of the unit BETWEEN the kickplate
and the base, allowing clearance for the tabs of the kickplate to attach,
has thwarted fuzzies while still allowing for proper air circulation and
access to the drip pan without affecting esthetics. Be sure to include any
exposed sides that protrude past the cabinet depth. Although I cannot speak
with authority, this modification should not void any applicable warrantees.

Well, at least the pet store employee had the proper concern to address this
common complaint. Perhaps it's best not to become Calvinistic concerning
our personal practices. Bill K. and others have offered some alternative
media and I am sure others will follow that will add little if any
additional expense or efforts. Somehow, I cannot envision the corralling of
hundreds of pet store clerks towards the Laundromat. Knowing the mindset of
some of these clerks--ahh, youth--it has proven a monumental task just
getting them to do their OWN laundry. Besides, we would probably soon be
hearing about the problem of tumble dried fuzzies stuck in the lint trap.
(sorry, couldn't resist)

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, but somehow I think this would premise the
Earth being knocked off its axis sending it hurling wildly into distant
space.

Ditto in Miami, however, there are also a few Latin restaurants in the area.

best wishes,
until next time,
