I'll admit it: when I eat cereal in the mornings I let the ferrets who are
interested help themselves to a lick of milk or piece of cereal. I'm
prepared for the attempted "bowl tip" (hiya Hogan) or "head dunk" (I see
you, Thistle), but Bongo did something this morning that bears warning
others about.

After Hogan delicately took a lick of milk and Cheerio (it must seem like a
latte' and biscotti to him) I put the cereal bowl before Bongo so he could
take his share. Bongo sniffed the bowl, then dumped in the mouthful of
kibble I didn't realize he was carrying, swished it around in the milk
with his nose, and then took the kibble back out and ate it.

Yes I finished the bowl of cereal, but I wasn't sure if the kibble
after-taste was real or just my imagination.
