You know you are a ferret person when you get angry at your human children
you have the strong urge to scruff them.
 
Haven't done it yet, but have told my five year old I was going to scruff
him if he didn't start behaving.  He just giggled.  So did I when I
envisioned trying to hold his "scruff."
