First, why would you want to train your paper?  I've never seen trained
paper and I've *really* been around!  As an idea, you might want to train
your *ferret*, instead? :):):)  Just a bit of humor!
 
Anyway, try putting litter on the paper.  In fact, you might even want to
try getting those "flats" (the cardboard bottoms that they put cases of
soda on, that have a lip of only about a half inch or so) and put the paper
in that, then put litter on it.  When it's time to clean up, roll the paper
up, then fold the ends and toss in the trash! :)
