tye-died hammocks; tail-poofing

A couple of days ago, there was a post about tye-died hammocks.  I'm
interested in getting more information on them.  I love the Dead.  My
ferrets are all named after Dead songs - Sugar Magnolia, Sunshine
Daydream, Delia DeLion.
 
Recently, my Delia has been poofing her tail.  there doesn't always seem to
be a reason.  Is this a sign of an illness coming on, or am I just being an
overreactive mom?
