Dear Ferret and Animal Lovers,
The Bitterroot Humane Society, in Hamilton, MT is in desperate need for the
following items due to the extensive fires there, the ones you have seen on
the news.
 
Ther are many ferret owners in the valley, and their animals are in need
too.  Please reach into your hearts and your pocketbooks and send some
support for the effort to save the animals.
 
Thank you for the help with the animals.  They are seriously in need of
extra food and 9x9 trays for kitty litter in animal carriers, plus carriers
to house the stranded cats.
 
As of yesterday afternoon they had 343 animals at the Fair Grounds, ranging
from rabbits to horses and cows.  The Board met to cancel the fair, which
you will probably see in the paper.  They had contracts to cancel so were
under a time limit to get that done.  The housed animals are using up all
the facilities which would be used for stock at the fair, plus they need
the Sheriff's support for security, an ambulance on the grounds, medical
