Little Pouncer, a well known biter who found her way to me passed this
evening due to a combination of adrenal and insulanoma. She is survived
by her cagemate Prancer, another biter. They lived together in a larger
cage with other ferrets. When Pouncer became ill, they had to be
separated so Pouncer's healthe could be watched. Pouncer refused to
accept any other ferrets into her cage, including others she had lived
with in the past. They came in as pair. I can't remember if their story
was one of abuse or neglect, like so many biters. She's joined the
other biters from the biting cages and waits for Prancer and her
cagemates to join her.
