Gawd-E-Mighty!
 
Just a quick scribble to let you know that we're still alive.  We've been so
busy lately that our noses are starting to become pointed.  We've even
started hiding things from ourselves!  We must be turning into ferrets - at
least we hope we are - many much more opportunities for fun and play.
 
Here's a brief excerpt from a letter we wrote tonight in the hope that it
would explain why we haven't written anything lately:
 
>Sorry that I haven't been able to write lately.  Our business has really
>taken off.  Also, the client I am driving the mail truck for gave me an
>office, a computer, and hired me an assistant.  In addittion to driving the
>mail every night, I'm now preparing all the paper work that the post office
>requires, coordinating the mailing schedules, and serving as warehouse
>manager.  My work day starts at 8AM and ends at about 1AM.  I start out at
>8 doing data entry, doing print jobs, and making deliveries for Mee Maw.
>At 11 I show up at Mail Advertising and take care of my duties there.  Get
>home from the mail run anywhere from 7-10PM.  Then it's more work for Mee
>Maw until I just have to go to bed.  Weekends aren't much better.  Not too
>shabby for a crippled Old Fert!

Well, that pretty much explains the situation.  We haven't had a chance to
read the FML for over a week.  Personal letters keep coming in.  At least we
read them.  We apologize for the fact that we just can't respond to them
all.  The best we can do is to say, "Thank you", and ask you to subscribe to
the PML if you'd like to keep up with what's going on with us.
 
For those who might have missed it, the PML is a rambling that we send out
from time to time in an effort to keep up with folks.  It's also a place to
submit anything that might spread joy.  We'll publish your contributions

Ya'll take care and give your fuzbutts some major good loving from us. We'll
write more when we can. Right now we feel a serious urge to scartch ourselves
silly and to dance, backwards, off of the bed. Hmmm. All work and no play...
