Hi to everyone, just wanted to share a little story. A few months ago we
picked up a little female ferret that we thought had gotten loose from her
humans. After walking and knocking on doors for several blocks, putting up
posters, after which there was no response. Anyway, her tail was bare but
we thought she was in pretty good shape for being out who knows how long.
After several weeks the hair was back with a tiny white tip at the end.
She ate like there was no tomorrow, which she still does and has put on
the weight so she is nearly as big as one of the boys.

So she is a silvermitt, coat of silk and since she turned out to be so
sweet her name is Sweetie. Sorry this is so long but wanted to introduce
her to everyone.

She just has the cutest little thing she does, while she is laying flat I
can take my finger and scratch her on the back at the base of her neck.
She rolls over on her side and as I scratch her hind foot starts going and
her eyes close then her mouth starts going. We use to have a dog that did
that but never thought we would have a ferret than enjoyed the scratching
so much as she does. She is just so cute.

Prayers to everyone who has lost a special fuzzie friend.

Penny and Sweetie
