Got the below from Ronnie today so am sending it along in case time is
sparse in Michigan today. This is the judge who read the scientific
testimony and understood it then refused to order Kodo's death. (The other
two appeals justices did, but then the case went to the MI Supreme Court so
Kodo had another stay of execution.)

PLEASE, send a THANK YOU NOTE to the judge who HELPED KODO:
> Judge Richard Allen Griffin
> Michigan Court of Appeals
> 3310 Grandview Plaza
> 10850 Traverse Highway
> Traverse City, MI 49684-1363

Doing this will help send a message to those who might otherwise oppose a
quarantine law for ferrets, because they will see someone familiar with them
receiving large amounts of positive mail. It's HARD to ignore sacks of
wonderful PHYSICAL mail. All you need to do is to say "Thank You for your
ruling to spare Kodo", but if you want to praise him for his compassion and
having the too rare ability to understand scientific testimony that's not
going to hurt at all. All it will take is the time to write as few as eight
words, write an address, put on a stamp, and drop it in a mail box -- maybe
two minutes at max! If you want to throw in a child's sketch that's also a
great thing to do!

BIll, if you get a letter on this from the Michigan contingent on this then
feel free to dump this one to save band width!

Sukie
