It is with great joy that report that Sterling was found last night.

Special thanks to Glen and Lydia Barton who helped search for Sterling
yesterday evening. Although he was not found during that time, Glen
suggested another search at dark, when it was cooler and Sterling might
be more likely to come out of hiding.

Sterling's Mommy and friends were out searching again last night,
squeaking his toys across the street frmom her apartment building, and
there he was, standing on the sidewalk looking for where that noise was
coming from. As she approached, he ran into a hold in the building and
was in the walls. When she got closer, he poked his head out and ran up
to his Mommy when he figured out who it was.

Sterling's Mommy, The Bartons and Shelter Mom could not be happier -
tears of joy all the way around!!

I'd also like to say that we as the ferret community are a wonderful
crowd!! I received e-mails from as far as Chicago, (GCFA member Phyllis)
offering help from fellow-ferret owners in the area of the lost ferret.
We rise to the occasion when it's called for, whether it's one lost
ferret or a rescue of 70. Thanks everyone!!
