I understand what you are saying, Meghan ... but people (and ferrets) with
argyria turn bright blue/grey! It would be kind of hard to miss someone
with this condition .. it's not as subtle as, say, someone who has asthma,
which you would only notice if the person were to have an attack or use an
inhaler near you. These people/animals would actually have a noticably
different skin tone than individuals without argyria have.

I know that LOTS of the ferret shelters use colloidal silver on their
animals, and LOT of people use colloidal silver. Heck .. in the grocery
store where I live, they sell two different brands of colloidal silver.
People use it a LOT around here.

Yet, I have yet to see a person with argyria. I have yet to see a ferret
with argryria ... and I've been on the FML for about 4 years, and have yet
to HEAR of a ferret with argyria here ... despite the thousands of ferrets
this list represents. It doesn't seem to be a strong likelihood at all to
get argyria in ordinary usage of the product.

Anyone can be damaged by improper use of a safe product .. you could
damage yourself if you drank too much WATER, for heaven's sake. That
doesn't make the product that you misused inherently unsafe, though.
