Regarding the type of litter to use for ferrets. Another problem
with the really fine clumping litter is that after the ferret
relieves himself if he scoots his bottom like most ferrets do the
litter can become impacted in his rectum. I prefer the pelleted type
like Cat Works but it will stain ferrets teeth if they play in it so
it's not good to use with kits. I've been using pelleted rabbit chow
for the last six months and it works just fine.
