Hi to everyone on the F.M.L.
Me and my limited knowledge thought we would hitch a ride on the litter
train.

The choice of my furies-UNTREATED woodstove pellets. I can't really be the
judge of other forms of litter as I haven't tried any, except cat litter
for a short time, it stuck occasionally to my furies but and he was not
impressed. The woodstove pellets break down when used and cleaning out the
poopie only requires a small kids shovel. Just thought I'd throw in an
alternative if anyone wanted to test it out.

On the most embarrassing post-two years ago while at our annual ferret
frolic a photographer from one of city papers came out and took a bunch of
pics of furies and their humans. This is cool I thought. So I took the
liberty of jumping into a few with Buddy Bunchkin thinking I would ask the
photographer for a few color pictures of Buddy and I from the negatives.
I learned the next day we got more then we bargained for, for on page 2 of
the Sunday paper was a large photo of Buddy, playing in my, head poking out
the top, with a caption that read,"Kathy M. SQUEALS as her two year old
ferret Buddy plays in her shirt." Needless to say everyone at work saw this
and the teasing went on for two weeks. Today I'm glad for the photo as
Buddy has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge and looking at it brings back
happy memories. I do believe Buddy is right now happily weasel-war-dancing
with grandpa who loved giving Buddy a wet kiss on the nose every time we
went to visit.

Glad to here (Gentle) Ben is through surgery! We all hope to see a ferret
speedy recovery.
