HI, I have a question. My ferret Spaz is a sable with a silver under coat.
He is usually very active but a few months ago I took all my ferrets to the
vet for a health check and Spaz had a temp of 103. The other 2 were fine
but I gave Spaz some childrens benadryl by the request of the doctor. But
now I am not sure if he has a fever any more but he is sluggish. He also
looks like his right side of his little body is starting to swell. He will
play a little and the just flop down on the floor and rest. He is eating
and drinking because I have been watching him closely. I am really worried
about him. If anyone has any advice please let me know. I don't want to
take him to the vet till I feel confidant that he is sick and not me just
being a worrywart...you know what I mean?

Thanks for your time
Heather and all the babies
