In response to Rachelle's post about potato eating ferrets - I too have two
ferrets that find potatoes irresistible but never really eat alot of it,
just a few nibbles and the rest of the potato is left to die. Many of the
ferret-ravaged potatoes make there way to various spots around the house
probably because they are too ashamed to go back to the potato bag and face
their peers. My potato eating ferrets seem fine but I don't really know if
they are okay to eat - I imagine so as with everything - as long as it is
not the main dietary source and only on occasion.
