For all you newer ferret lovers on the list -
 
Just a quick reminder that the abocve mentioned products are not the same.
 
Vitasol is a vitamin supplement that is added to the drinking water.  If you
are feeding a quality ferret food this is not necessary.
 
Linetone or Ferretone is a coat / skin viatmoin suppliment ( which should be
diluted at a ratio of 1/3 Ferretone or Linetone to 2/3 olive oil or canola
oil, thank you Dr. Susan Brown).  The diluted mixture can be used as a
nttritional suppliment if the ferret is being fed a kitten food or cat food.
If ferret is on a quality ferret food use as a traet or put it on the
ferrets belly ( while holding it in your lap) to make a very simple job of
nail clipping.
