The goatsucker is a dragon-like, yet mammalian, tailed creature with red
eyes, about the size of a weasel, that supposedly has just crossed the
border from Mexico into Arizona. It attacks *only* animals, no humans that
are known, and sucks their blood. It's made quite a splash in the local
news and newspapers over the past week or so here in Tucson. I don't
suppose this has anything to do with the fact that "Missouri Bob" Church
just came through the Southwest... did he draw the creature here, or bring
it with him... or... a scary thought... of course.... he's actually The
Fiery, Fearsome Ferretperson. Ordinary, bone-measuring human by day,
transformed into Ferretperson by night, wantonly slaughtering chickens and
rabbits... ;->

Seriously, (snicker) (G) all reported attacks so far are *apparently* the
work of dogs, not weasels. So either Bob is covering his tracks well, or
it's another Yeti - Abominable Snowperson - Loch Ness monster - Jackalope
sort of thing.
