I`ve had severe allergys,asthma for the last 10 years at least.  I`ve had
ferrets for the last 8 years.  If you are treated by the correct Dr. than
you will be fine.  It took me a couple of years to get under control, but
I have had around 8 babies since 92 also, so yes I do have whole ferrets.
Yes you can have ferrets,allergys, and asthma........dook,dook from
midnight and her sweet little angels...........happy ferreting
