What's wrong with THAT!  I do that all the time with Patch and Lily.
Holding them in my arms, rocking them, telling them what good ferrets they
are, what pretty ferrets they are.  I tug gently at their paws and call
them my paw-paw boy and my paw-paw girl.  Sometimes I put them over my
shoulder and pat their backs gently and pet them and tell them I love them.
I see nothing wrong with that!
 
Ok, ok, I know I have a very bad case of "wanna-baby." Treating Patch and
Lily like babies holds that desire in check.
