Things are changing.  My wife and I went to a move last night.  Before the
main feature, the theater had a fund raising movie clip for the Dana Farber
Cancer Clinic in Boston, MA (the Jimmy Fund) to support research on cancer
cures for children.  This clip featured various pets, waiting for "their
child" to come back home after their cancer treatment.
 
It started off showing a dog; then a cat; then "Slinky," a chocolate
colored ferret!
