Regarding your question on out-of-season hobs:
>...though, if a hob would want to breed an in heat female in the "off
>season" - is the presence of a jill in heat enough to stimulate him, or
>is he only interested when the time is right? Dr. Williams????

This is a question that is best directed to Pam Grant or one of the
other breeders on the FML. They have a lot more firsthand knowledge than I
do on this subject - I don't think it quite qualifies as disease....
(remember, I am, by trade, a pathologist, so I deal more in disease than
theriogenology).

Gee, I'm full of "no answers" today.
