Hi all!
I am very pleased to report that today Amelia is progressing by leaps and
bounds. She ate on her own, she passed normal stool later, and washed her
face. She tottered around the waiting room at the vet's a little bit, but
that was enough to tire her out. I can already tell that she won't be a
terribly cooperative convalescent, but that's ok, because she will be alive
and soon enough be my fierce little weasel again. I still got the shakes
when I looked at the thing that was in her. Again, a huge, huge thank you
to the FML, and all my sympathies to those whose fuzzbugs are not doing so
well-- I know now exactly what you are going through, and it is hell. I
hope everybody's story can end as well as mine is. Amelia ought to be
coming home tommorrow. I'll let Cully see that she's ok, since I think he
really was moping for her, but then he's off for a few days vacation with my
ex to give Amelia some time to recouperate in peace. Thanks again to all--

Regina and Amelia ("why is everybody making such a fuss over my poop?")
and Cully too
