Hi!
I'm afraid I'll have to jump in a stir things up.  I had a ferret that did
become extremely excited when she drew blood...which seemed to like to do
quite often.  She didn't seem to be malicious in her biting, but when she
drew blood she seemed to become ecstatic.  She had grown up in a research
colony...might have had something to do with it??
 
Wouldn't want to propagate any myths:)
