Howdy Gang! We are happy to report that ferret math has struck again. My
cousin (who I brainwashed into loving ferts) rescued one from a friend but
her first ferret didn't like the new one and beat him up all the time. So,
I now have him of course. He's a cute little blaze. I did the ferret
hearing test-calling his name, shaking treat can/bags and the ultimate DUCK
SQUEAK. Any ferret, that can hear, within 50 yards comes running but he
didn't. This isn't unexpected since Jasper is also a blaze that is deaf
and over the years it seems that the majority of deaf ferrets I've heard
about are blazes.

Four ferts were a handful, five is three hands full...but I love it! His
original name is Bandit but since he can't hear it being called anyway I've
decided to change it. I figured out last night that subconsciously there
is a pattern to the names I've given my ferrets. B-Booger is 8 letters
from J-Jasper which is 6 letters away from P-Pharaoh which is 4 letters
away from T-Tavi. This leads me to believe that Bandit's new name should
start with a V. I must research the letter V for an unusual word/name for
him.

Treats and furry kisses,
Laura-Tavi, Booger, Jasper, Pharaoh and V-Bandit
