Good morning to everyone and so sorry it has taken me so long to get
back to the computer. I know there are several people out there who
had written to me and was looking forward to my posts about living and
traveling in an RV across the country.

I will try to make this sorta of short and interesting and get in more
posts as I catch up on my reading. I can't believe I have about 25 FML
to catch up on.

First we are in Spokane, Wa and have been here since the last of May. Our
son is stationed here in the AF. We both got really sick soon after our
arrival and it just wouldn't go away. The weather is nicer now and the
sun I feel always helps get rid of the illness!!

I did go the doctor as I was afraid the ferrets would all get sick living
in such close quarters. Thank heaven no one got it, after the doctor
visit we had a viral infection we caught from our grandkids. Love those
grandkids!!!

We were planning on leaving this area about the middle of July after our
new grandson was born but got talked into taking on the camp host job till
Sept. So now we are working on the Air Force Base Camp ground. We like
it get a free site and our son likes us being here.

The ferrets go out everyday that the weather is not either to warm or
windy and they love all the attention from everyone. We have a couple
here that have one ferret and she seems willing to learn a lot and has
Ferret mag. We talk a lot and no one believes we have ten ferrets that
live with us in the RV.

As for the new addition in reading some back FML catching up I see lists
that talked about dogs and ferrets. Well, we have a new PUPPY!!! Just
what we needed in the RV right??

As far as dogs and ferrets getting along I think this guy thinks he is a
ferret or will by the time he becomes a dog. We went to the feed store to
get some litter for the ferrets, I thought I was being smart to stay away
from the pet stores where I knew there were pets, didn't work!!! There
was a tiny toy pom in this huge dog crate. No, we don't need a dog. Left
the store went back the next day, no we don't need a dog, well guess what
my husband and son went quietly over that afternoon and brought home
Gizmo.

The ferrets haven't figured out just what he is yet but like rolling him
around and Freddie likes to try and put him under the couch with the rest
of the stuffed toys. He steals the ferret food from the bowls through the
cage and Missitoo has already bite his toe while he was trying to
investigate her cage.

I think this is long enough for now, but have lots more to write.

Love and Fuzzie hugs
Penny, The Ten Travelers and Gizmo
