I want to share this with all of you.

We lost our first ferret yesterday. Her name was Slinky. She was the
first ferret to join our family and I would have never thought in a
million years when we bought her that someone could get so attached to a
ferret. I have a web-page dedicated to her memory.

She was a very affectionate fuzzy. She loved to ride on my shoulder when I
took her outside with me. When she wanted to be picked up, she would
scratch my feet until I paid attention to her. Then after 15 to 30 seconds
of my petting her, she returned the favor by licking my ears and preening
my hair. After 30 seconds or so of that, she would want back down.

I think she thought I was her human rather than her being my ferret.

Man this is tough. Thank you for allowing me to mourn the loss.
