I will let the Tristate show organizers address the main concern, but for
the record, all AFA sanctioned shows that sign a show contract *AFTER*
October 1, 2001 are required to have all ferrets in the show hall be ADV
tested within 6 months of the show date (POCT tests are not acceptable).
Since it took so long to set the policy, the Tristate show was already
under contract prior to that date and the organizers were very set against
requiring testing. AFA *HIGHLY* recommends testing has tried to sway the
organizers, but they still do not want to make it a requirement. AFA has
suggested that all ferrets who are tested be separated in the show hall
from those who have not and the judging will be segregated as well.

Also for the record, the Washington and Oregon shows will require testing.
And if Tristate wants AFA to sanction future shows, ADV testing will be
required.

Comments and concerns are welcomed.
