OK, I've put up with atrocious German for a while now, but when a lack of
literacy besmerches people, it's time to speak up.
 
1) Arnold Schwarzenegger's name does NOT mean "black nigger," it means
"he who lives in the dark (shwarze) land ("egger," "acker" in high German,
"acre" in English)."
 
2) If travelling in Germany, label your carry-kennel with "Vorsicht -
Lebeneden Tieren: Frettchen." "Achtung" implies danger, "vorsicht" means
"careful, caution."
 
If you don't know what you're saying, don't say anything.
