Hi all,
I got a lot of responses on how to talk to my friend.  I want to thank
everyone for your help.  She called me back and wants me to go with her to
the pet store tuesday evening (eep!).  But I am going to talk to her today.
You all brought up a lot of good points and advice.  Thank you soooo much!
 
I also want to thank those who gave me advice on getting weight back on
Ginger.  I am going out today to get some things for her to fatten up on.
