I've heard (and I might be wrong) that the BFF recovery group lost some
goverment funding.  Looks like the BFFs might need us just as much as the
shelter ferrets do.
 
Since FML members are pretty mustelid enlightened folks, couldn't we make
the BFF's an "Honorary Ferret" for purposes of discussion on the FML?
 
Perhaps as people here became more educated and involved in the plight of
the BFFs, FMLers could help make more of an impact towards the long term
survival of the species in their natural habitat.  I know that as a group,
we've been very effective in helping lots of domestic ferrets in tough
places.
