Hi Y'all!  I have to ask you knowledgeable people about this, it has me
very confused, I adopted Lucky less than a week ago, she gets along great
with Truls, who follows her around like a dog, they play very gentle and
nice, the problem is with Liza, she has always been hyper active, and
pretty rough, i have put them all together for playtime in hope that the
girls will work this thing out, but when Liza repeatedly chases Lucky and
gets under the couch where i cant reach them, i brought the girls to my
half bath, i emptyed the cubboards and sat in there with them, and this
is what happens, Liza makes an attack on Luckys neck, Lucky screams, well
she doesn't really scream, she chippes like an angry bird, it has no
resemblance to the cry they do when they are hurting, Then Lucky hisses and
Liza hisses, every now and then, Liza takes off dooking after an attack,
Lucky is very vocal and starts making the chipping noises when Liza is near
her, or hisses, Liza then jumps on Lucky and wrestles her, she doesn't bite
her so much, but pushes her butt against Lucky and presses her into the
corner, she can take off dooking and return hissing at her, I covered Lucky
with ferretone and that seemed to help a little, Liza will lick Lucky, but
when i put them down, Lucky tries to get away from Liza, and that is the
signal for Liza to chase , after the bathroom session, i sat for a moment
holding Lucky in my arms and Liza up on my shoulder, Liza tried to grab
Lucky, and when i prevented her she started hissing, she did this several
times, i was talking softly to her, and kissing her, and she was hissing i
think even at me, i just continued untill Liza finally put her head on my
hand and just looked totally depressed, she looked so tired i put them both
in their separate cages, today i will try again, i am beginning to think
this will never work out, they simply dont like each other, btw, Lycky does
fight back, and a coupple of times, Liza is the one retreating, Liza then
seems even playfull!!  At times hissing and at times playfull, are we
making any progress????  When i take them ouside the house on the patio
that i have blocked off, Liza is mainly bussy turning every stone and
sniffing around, and seems not to even see Lucky, who is scratching the
door, and getting as high up on a garden chair as she can.
 
i am thinking of putting them both in the half bath every day for the
entire day, as long as they don't kill each other, i will of course check
on them all the time, and just wear them out, Please give me advice and
comments!!  I can't even think of returning Lucky, she has to stay, we all
Love her, she is the sweetiest, and even my husband has changed his mind
about ferrets because of her, he used to think that all ferrets were like
Liza who bites everyone but me, and that Truls was an amazing exception,
because he Never bites or nips.  and of course Liza is also my very special
girl, who i think is very jeaulous right now.
