Yeah, yeah, I've kept my big mouth shut long enough:
 
I am hideously opinionated, and with all the "debates" going on within this
list, I've felt like Roger Rabbit when Judge Doom was running around doing
the "shave and a haircut" knock: I've just GOTTA respond.  No, I DON'T have
an opinion on how anyone should feed-discipline-show-treat their ferret for
cancer.  As many of you know, I'm feeling my way "baby steps" with Janice
and Puffo.  Who the heck am _I_ to say anything about that?  My mistakes
make me horribly guilt-ridden while my successes are infinitely rewarding.
It's just this:
 
I really hate it -- okay, hate is a strong word -- It makes my stomach flip
over when someone asks a question (like the lady who was the wilderness
canoeist) and some people on here sort of imply, "Oh, my GAWD, where did you
get an idea like THAT about ferrets?!" Hey, obviously people who ask
questions are interested in helping their ferrets or interested in ferrets
in general.  We've all admitted that there's a lack of accurate ferret
"documentation" out there.  We're here to provide a solution for that,
right?  I, for one, LIKE to hear all the ideas about treating ferret illness
so I can store them away for the future.  I DON'T like when two
more-knowledgeable-than-average people act like, " I know more about ferrets
than YOU do!  Nyah!".  Okay, so the point is that I'm going to listen to
ANYONE I can (within common sense) if I wanna help that Janice or Puffo
ferret who is curled up in my chair going do-do.  (Louisiana ferrets go
do-do... not night-night!)
 
You ALL know more about ferrets than I do!  And I am eternally grateful!
And, granted, without some of your differences of opinion, whether they were
amiable or sort of friendly competitive, or even negative towards each
other, I wouldn't know some of the stuff I DO know!  My point: help ferrets!
please don't hurt feelings!  I don't know about you guys, but sometimes
thinking about my fuzzballs is the only thing that gets me through the day.
It's enough that we have to deal with meanies and bilge-rats and bitter
people (obvious non-ferret-owners) everyday at work.  Do we gotta get our
sensitivities stepped on in our "extra curriculars", too?
 
Oh yeah, my landlord, who is a non-ferret owner, had slipped a letter under
my door (I think it was about me having to get a smoke alarm) and Janice
promptly pooped on it when I let her out.  Huh-uh.  That was cool.
Heh-hmm-heh.
 
BIG -- if this is too long or too preachy, chop it up or axe it completely.
I won't mind.  I think it was theraputic just sending it.  :)
