I agree that boarding at a veterinary office is a good, safe alternative.  Of
course if you are fortunate enough to have a reliable person who is familar
with our furry friends watch them in your house that may be ideal.  As long
as the vet office is familar with ferrets and cares for them.  We like to
keep them in a seperate room so they are not frightened by the dogs and allow
them to have seperate play time for them to get out of their cage and
exercise.  It is another good question to ask when you are looking for a vet.
