Hey Everyone:
 
As a bit of background, I and my husband currently have 4 ferts and in
the past have had 2 pass on from medical conditions.  Every one of them
have been rescues.  Never had a biter or a bad personality among them
(even tho Camile (the Alpha Female) will tell you she's God.)
 
Our only deaf ferret is a goregous DEW we named "Lucky" because he was on
death row at our Vets office and the vet had the foresight to call us to
see if we'd want him before he administered the final fatal injection ...
We didn't even stop to comb our hair before we were on our way to collect
what turned out to be a MAGNIFICENT specemin of Adolescent Male Ferret
Sex Appeal.
 
I swear-- -- someday I will sew him a tiny little wifebeater-type T shirt
and shave his belly to show off his admirable 12 pak and put him in a
calendar... he's just a TOTALLY HOT BOY!!!  You should see the guy climb!
Muscle definition you wouldn't believe~!!
 
We've never had problems disciplining him using a scruff and a "no-no"
head motion by us in his face.  However, he's not any more or less
obedient than any of the others and we use the same discipline on
everybody (so my definition of 'problems' may be different than someone
else's.) --They poop and we pick it up.  They knock it over and we pick
it up.  They dig in it and we re-pot the houseplant and wash their feet.
 
etcetera...
 
Some things we just don't question around here....~LOL~
