Hi All just wrote this on the spure tonight thought I would share it and see
if it is ok and fit to publish????
 
A Prayer for My adopted Ferrets
 
Today you leave me to begin your second chance at life,
I look out the window as you leave
your future is so bright.
May you be safe and warm
free of past fears,
I want you to have the best in life
even though I am shedding tears.
 
A special place to call home
a house full of toys that you are free to roam.
I am sad to see you go
but happy you will never be alone.
 
May you always have love
and good food to eat
and oh I can not forget that goodnight ferret treat.
 
May you hold your head high
and have no reason to doubt
that your new family cares
and you will never be without.
 
May you never no sickness
no more abuse or neglect,
May your new home be forever
For I do my best to select.
 
Please only look ahead
leave past terrors behind
May all who are blessed
with your presence be kind.
 
I wish you the best
as you go on your way
but I will think of you
each and every day.
 
As I send you this prayer on this your first day
please know that I love you
and wish here you could stay.
