I need some help. Hopefully someone out there can provide it for me.

You may have read my message about Alexander and the, uh um, bedding. (I
have changed it and he is doing much better, though he is still itching a
little from having dry skin.)

But he is SOOOOO lonely. Whenever I come home and let him out, I put him in
his "special" room and he just stands at the barricade and looks at me.
Even when he is in his cage, he comes up to the third floor and lays down on
his side and stares at me -- and sighs. I hate it when he does that!!!! I
know what he wants. He wants a friend. He doesn't get to play with anyone,
except if the dog comes a snoopin', during the day because I have to work
and go to school.

I wanted to go to the Humane Shelter, but they said they don't usually get
any until after the semester is over. I even tried the pet store
($140!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), but they don't expect any for another 1 1/2 months.
Someone wanted to get rid of his ferret to this other pet store around here,
but the store owner hasn't heard anything from him since he told the person
that "he wan't paying THAT much money."

I live in Carbondale, IL. If there is anyone around this area who are, for
some reason or another, unable to take care of your little one, please let
me know. I have Spring Break next week, so hopefully . . . .

              THANKS!!
