Hi Everyone! And dooks to the little ones!

You may remember me from last year with my loss of Pookie. It took me 7+
months and 1 year of lighting candles for her, but now I do realize she
is in my heart and will forever be loved.

I got 2 more kids in December and by some coincidence one of them acts
exactly like my Pookie. I'm sure for some reason she was intended for us
to be together. I am now a proud mom of 5 and I love everysingle one of
them!

My wedding went well, but of course I thought of pookie during the
ceremony. Thank God it was only a 15-minute ceremony, but I still almost
forgot my line when asked if I take this man... As a matter of fact it
almost came up as a dook for an answer. But I made it through! I'm
still upset that my sister would not let my other three in the wedding.

This weekend I had a lot of time with my kids. They love to help me
when I'm cleaning the room. I learned a lot since I got ferrets. It's
amazing what you can learn by just watching and seeing their actions each
day. I think a lot of people can learn from ferrets. I'm not saying
everyone could use this. There is just a lot to learn from them.

When my kids come out, they will usually all come to me at one time to
tell me they want their plate of treats. I will get their towel out and
place their plate down and pour their treats so they may all share. They
all go to the plate, but never fight over who got what or you got more
than me. As a matter of fact they all climbed on the bed with me later
and that's usually a sign that they want another treat (You know the I'll
do a trick for a treat!). I never give just one ferret a treat. If one
gets a treat, then they all get a treat. I noticed that Lamb Chop was
eating her treat and she looked up and saw Buddie had just finished his
and wanted more. She kindly went over and gave her remaining piece to
Buddie. Then I saw Mickey getting comfortable in the blankies I leave in
the closet for them to dig in. He was just making himself comfortable
and Minnie saw him in there by himself. She got up went outof the closet
(Large walk in) went to the plate of treats, got a big piece of a crunchy
and went back into the closet and placed it right in front of Mickey.
They looked at each other, Minnie then went back out to the room and
played with the others and Mickey was content and ate the treat. All I
could think was "How kind and how sweet that is!"

When they sleep they don't argue over who has too much of the blanket.
Or if one is sleeping downstairs of the cage and one decides to go down
stairs also the other always makes room for the other. It's never "Your
hogging the Blankets" or "I'm here so you can't be here too!" Its just
pure kindness on each one of their parts. If one is getting in trouble
the rest will try to help the other. Always!!! Never arguments, just
play! Never selfishness, just love! Its just something I observed and
feel so strongly and proud of my kids!

Thanks everyone! Thanks for being here and listening! Thanks for being
a kind and a welcome heart! Mostly, Thanks for caring! Sorry this was
so long!

Sincerely,
Pook Mom & The Doo-Doo Crew (Buddie, Mickey,Minnie, Stewart Little, Lamb
Chop and Pookie at the Rainbow Bridge)
