I posted a while back looking for information on getting a friend for my
seven year old ferret Slinky, who was very lonely after her two room mates
went to rainbow bridge within a month of each other.  They were together
since kits.
 
I finally found her a friend a couple of weeks ago.  What a different
ferret.  She's sooooo happy, and she follows him everywhere.
 
There is a bit of a problem with the big Bubba.  He is neutered and
supposed to be descented.  The other day when we were playing he got a
little excited and expressed his anal glands.  Has anyone had this problem
with a male ferret?  I have only had experences with females.  I asked my
vet about this, and she said it may be result of a blotched up descenting
job, because he was so young.
 
If anyone has had experence with this I,d love to hear from you.
