I dont know about you but if a couple of health officers or a plaintiff like
the one involved here knocked on my door, court order or no court order,
they would be lookin at the bussiness end of my shotgun if they were asking
to take my fuzzies.  I would not release them to anyone, period.  Why did
Dave have to let them go?  As soon as they were out of site I would
transport them to a safe neutral area and tell anyone who wanted them to
bite a root.  I realize hindsight is 20-20, but could you imagine yourselves
handing over 3 ferrets to those idiots and the look on your ferret's faces
as they were escorted away for decapitation?????  I DONT THINK
SO!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I hope we have ALL learned something from this tradgedy.
