One way to get the word out about proper care for ferrets is to conduct
classes on ferret care.  Each community may have a community center that
teaches classes on different subjects.  If you are interested in teaching
about ferrets, contact the local office.
 
For those of you in the Manhattan Kansas area, look in your spring
University For Man flyer for the "Ferret Care 101" class.  Yours truly
will be your instructor. :-0
 
Also, for those interested in teaching Petco personnel how to provide
proper care for ferrets you can contact their Corporate Office and ask for
the Marketing Cooperator in your area.  A little teaching may go a long
way.  As always, remember to be polite and present your idea in a positive
image.
