As those of you who inhabit rec.pets probably already know, I'm running
a "straw poll" on the desirability of a rec.pets.ferrets USENET newsgroup.
It occured to me that I should issue the straw poll here too and include
the results in the poll results because many of you may be interested in
a rec.pets.ferrets, but don't subscribe to rec.pets.

If you're interested in this issue at all (whether yay or nay), please
fill out the following "ballot" and email directly to me,
"[log in to unmask]".

This poll is not binding, and doesn't constitute a formal USENET group
vote. It's just being held to establish interest level.

I'd appreciate it if no discussion of this topic was carried on in the
FML directly. Unless you have a major concern - in which case email
directly to me.

[I know the first two questions seem rather silly when carried over the
FML, but answer them anyways - then I don't have to guess where you
saw the poll ;-)]

1 Are you interested in ferrets?
2 Are you already subscribed to the FML?
        3 Place a "1" beside your first choice and a "2" beside
          your second:
                a) No rec.pets.ferrets group
                b) An unmoderated rec.pets.ferrets group
                c) A moderated rec.pets.ferrets group

And finally, specific to the FML,

4 Would you unsubscribe to the FML if rec.pets.ferrets existed?
5 Would you unsubscribe to the FML if rec.pets.ferrets carried all
of the FML articles and vice-versa?

Ballots will be accepted up until May 5 00:01.

Thanks,

Chris
