I'm wondering about a more national campain on March 7th to promote ferret
awareness in all communities, and to egg The People's Republik of California
to allow people to have domesticated ferrets as pets. I thought of calling
Halmark/ American Greetings, "What? You mean you never heard of National
Ferret Freedom Day on March 7th? How could you miss a popular national
holiday like that?" Posters in pet stores, taking ferrets out in front of
local museams and answering questions, and just in general getting the word
on ferrets out. I suppose a business card with info on how to be reached
wouldn't hurt either.

Also, my ferret friends and I are going to promote a National Ferret Freedom
Day celebration on a virtual community my ferrets like to hang out in. The
response has been quite positive, as the ferrets are somewhat popular there.
I would think some national, calling attention to whats happening on March
7th in MA is in order.
