Any ferret owners out there have experience with ferrets and pet birds -
particularly parrots or birds larger than a canary or budgie? All of the
"bird" books talk about how horrible ferrets are in regards to birds and the
bird list folks go nuts when you mention ferrets. Their reputation in bird-
land is one of "bloodthirsty" killers who will kill a bird for sport. Just
wondering if anyone has any "hands on" knowledge of ferret behavior
around birds. I wouldn't ever have ferrets and birds out at the same time,
but the way the bird people talk, the ferrets would try to get into the
parrot's cage and kill it. Not a good situation. Thanks for any input.
