FERRET TALES FOR THE SOUL - POSSIBLE BOOK
 
I posted here awhile ago, asking if anyone might be interested in
participating in a book idea I pitched to the editor of Horse Tales For
The Soul (I have stories in volumes 1 and 2, and TheCompletePet.com is
now publishing volume 4!) -- my idea was, of course, Ferret Tales for the
Soul.  These stories can be happy or sad, but should be inspiring in some
way.  Bonnie, the editor, recently wrote back to me and this is what she
had to say:

HI Staci,
 
Sorry I haven't gotten back to you about the Ferret book idea.  I am
juggling several book projects right now and will just not have time
until the spring to focus on another project.  However, I would be
interested in seeing stories from you and your fellow Ferret aficionados.
I can't promise that we will be able to do a book, but I can promise to
post those stories on our website, TheCompletePet.com.  I'm happy to set
up a ferret area on the site and highlight the stories.  Depending on
the numbers of stories that come in, I would still be open to doing a
book in the spring.
 
If that works for you, let me know and we can go from there!

Send stories in the body of the email to [log in to unmask], and if you have
photos (72 dpi for screen resolution), inquire on how she'd like those
sent.
 
The more people who send in stories and show an interest, the more likely
they'll be to publish the book in paperback.  So please, do send your
stories in!  We, especially those of us in California, need to get some
GOOD ferret PR going.
