ScoudderFerret approached Muldoone's bungalow and smartly rapped on the
door.  A bright cheery voice from within sang out "comes in" and Scoudder
hurried inside.
 
"I hears da news dat you wakes up!!  Mully you be missted a bunch and
I gwad you bees back" Scoudder told his friend.  "We all bees worried
bout you" and with that Muldoone's friend rushed at him, threw his arms
around Mully and gave him a big hug.
 
Muldoone blushed a little under his fur on his chubby cheeks; rarely
did guy-ferrets openly display such affection, the girl ferrets at the
Bridge were all huggy and kissy but that was not the way Mully and his
friends were; they were rough-and-tough guy-ferrets, they had an image
to maintain.
 
"Mully, you bees asweep for a very wong time and we not kno if you wakes
up 'gain or not.  What it be wike when you bees asweep?  Did you dweams?
Did you hears us talkin to you?" ScoudderFerret asked him.
 
"Well I not members much, but I members visitin wiff my familee back on
earff.  I bees dere wiff dem and at night I sweep wiff my mom on her
pill-ow.  I misted bein dere for weal but it bees fun to be dere for a
while.  Den I hears Nanna, you, MustyPete, SawaFewet, Miz SunnyFewet,
and wots of odder fewets talkin to me and dey all say for me to pwease
comes back sooes I did" Muldoone explained to ScoudderFerret.
 
Going over to his friend once more, ScoudderFerret threw his arms around
Muldoone hugging him close, "Mully I bees gwad you back."
