The truth? The first take was exactly what you described. It was
Jack and Pan (the deaf one) and Jack ran off and Pan dashed off with
him. Then stood there looking at Jack - who was cowering under the
nightstand - like "Huh? I thought we were playing? Whatcha so scared
of?" :)
