The lump removed from my wee one's side was cancer.  That's the bad news.
The GOOD news is that from testing the surrounding tissue that the Vet
excised (he said he took quite a bit extra around it just in case of
cancer)no spread of the cancer is indicated!!!  They just advised to do
a regular "lump" check and to have anything suspicious checked out
immediately.  Other than that Gabby has a clean bill of health!!!
 
Thank you to everyone for the prayers and thoughts sent on Gabby's behalf
before and after her surgery.  I'm sure that they helped just as much as
the fact that Gabby has a caring and knowledgeable Vet!!
