Ferrets prefer dark places to sleep, the ideal would be a sleep box
with a small ferret size entrance and with a cloth flap covering the
entrance. My ferrets use a very large home made wooden cage with solid
floors and multiple levels and with a choice of two sleeping boxes.
They will share one box or the other at different times or will sleep
apart if the weather is too warm.

I have found that chewing material either bedding or on a few occasions
washing basket contents has been a reponse to pain. This is the same\
as the teeth grinding seen with ferrets with ulcers and other painful
conditions.

Tony (not a vet), Sugar and Suki.
In memory of Sally and Sue.
